Selections: Here I used a model from the catalog to play with the selections on. After this lesson however, I realized it was much easier to just quickly build basic models myself to practice the techniques on.
These are photos of me learning the paint bucket tool. By far my favorite tool
I'm using the eraser tool to erase and edge on the block
Rectangle tool is the tool i use the most.
Making lines was a lot easier after watching this tutorial
I'm using the line tool here to divide the line
I didn't know that Sketchup circles have 24 sides. Here I am showing the difference between circles and polygons
more circles
Here I am trying out the arc tool. This one is hard to use, but makes fancy results
like this!!
The freehand tool let me make a cool broken heart
The move tool let me move the heart's surfaces around similar to push pull
Push pull is really satisfying to use. I really liked how you can make a doorway
It is hard to show how I used rotate here, but I rotated the rectangle around the circle
N for Noah using Follow me! This is also tricky to use
Trim detail using follow me
The Scale tool is really useful, but took a while to get the hang of
Here is a picture of the offset tool. I like how you can make symmetrical borders so easily
I used the tape measure here to create guides
Here is the dimension tool I think this makes it look very professional
I used the protractor to measure the angle I made with two polygons. it is in the right corner
And to make a guideline at a 45 degree angle
Text tool! I'm sure this will come in handy!
More text
Here i used the axis tool to change the axes downward
This was hard to show, but here I am using the navigation tool to zoom out and pivot
Look around was very easy to use
so was walking around. I think this would be very useful for an architect
Finally, this is sectioning. I sectioned two ways on my polygons. Very easy to use.
