So I was stuck in this house and needed to get my character out. Unfortunately I couldn't see the inside due to camera issues.
I was unable to use the menu based solution that the video showed but eventually found that the scroll wheel could zoom my camera. Unfortunately the first person view was incompatible with the snipping tool screenshots and would take minimally zoomed out screenshots like this.
