Class Two Assignment Three Monocular Depth Cues (Part 2)


Light and Shadow are a monocular depth cue that helps distinguish objects from each other and their place in space by using light and shadow to show their relationship to each other in space.

Linear Perspective is familiar to any of us who have ran track. As you come around a corner your lines look gigantic but farther away the lane looks tiny. In this case the lines of desks are used to show this same spacial relationship familiar to us in the real world in our digital one.
